Likely a boring subject, but I am just so charged about my new 15 inch PBook and I thought my first post should be about it and introducing myself. I've only used Macs in my life – since the late 80's (SE, Quadras, LC, etc) – and I have a Cube and Rev A iMac (now the kids') at home. This Book is for work (I'm a creative director) but should I ever depart, man, it's coming with me! I don't need to describe it... you all well know how cool it is. Wireless is new to me though and the experience is just so cool.

MacNN was recommended to me by a friend and in my lurking for a couple weeks, I've found this community to be very friendly and helpful.

See ya around.

Picked up my 15" last week as well.

I went in for the 12", but after seeing them side by side, the 15" was an easy pick. The 12" needs a 64MB video card so I can use a second monitor with Quartz Extreme acceleration. The 12" LCD had kinda poor contrast as well.

Anyhow, pleased after 4 days of 15" ownership.

Good for you Grayware! I have the 1.33 17" myself. It's just something about the new Albooks that gets you excited when you get one even if you have been using Macs for years.
You didn't state the specs. Which 15" did you get?

Thanks hidan! 1.25 GHz, 80 gig Superdrive model. I was thinking of the 17, but I like the slightly more compact size of the 15... both are screamers. I impressed my PC friend in a big way yesterday, especially with the DVI port!

Holy schiznicks! Why in the heck would you do something like that? I waited forever to get mine and now I can't stop using it! They'll have to pry it from my cold, dead, fingers for me to get rid of it!
