When I reset the pram, (shift, ctrl, option + Power), the computer just immediately shutsdown. (Doesn't look OR sound like a proper shotdown!). Am I doing this right or is there a better way to do this?

Shift+Control+Option+Power resets the PMU not the PRAM. Also, you are supposed to do this while the computer is off.

Whoops... Okay, definitely thanks for pointing that out to me. I read that I had to do that in order to get my PB running back at full speed. From time to time, my processor is running at 533 mhz so I have to do that to get back to the original 867 mhz....
