Brightness and Contrast in a 17" watching movies

Hi.
I have a 17" 1.33 PB
Before, was a 15" 667
When I watch movies in the 17", it looks a little darker then was in the 15"
But the display is perfect for everything else.
there's any software I can use to control the contrast or something like this?

System Preferences->Display->Color->Calibrate
