Just an interesting observation I made after switching from 56K dialup to 1.5Mbps cable modem.

I seem to be getting longer battery life. On dialup it was never longer than ~3.5 hours.

Now on cable modem estimated remaining battery life is 3:40 on a 84% charge.

Is it really that modem is more power hungry?
