I thought you were serious for a minute.

Then I realized you were just a troll.

Get lost.

That was my first reaction, too. I thought I would give him benefit of the doubt, though. "Maybe", I thought, "just maybe this guy bought some sort of peripheral that businesses use to swipe credit cards."

But, eh, who am I kidding?

This is schweet. Reminds me of the guy who bought an AirPort card from me then e-mailed me telling me that it wasn't showing up in the System Profiler. He said, "I put it in right-side up and upside down and neither way worked." I said, "Are you sure you're putting it in the AirPort slot and not the PC card slot?" and he said, "I was putting it in those slots on the left-hand side."

I really wish my new PowerBook had one of those nifty pop-out cupholders like my old B&W G3 tower did...

Please clarify your problem, and note that if the problem is with a peripheral device (such as a non-Apple card reader), then this question does not belong in the PowerBook forum.

Are you sure? Feels like I am asking a fat woman when her baby is due.

I thought he slid it between the body and the screen, where the powerful electromaganetronic sensor waves would store the credit card in a state of eternal youthfulness.

Are you insinuating that the powerbook has a built in card reader?

Because it doesn't.
