So I decided to get the internal Bluetooth module when I ordered my iBook G4 12", although I didn't have any use for it at the time.

Now I know I made the right decision.

I just got a Sony Ericsson t610 through T-Mobile. Beautiful phone, btw. And of course it has Bluetooth.

Well, T-Mobile offers unlimited GPRS internet connectivity for only $20 a month. (All the other carriers seem to charge $80 a month for the same thing.)

And now, my friends, everywhere I go I am online with my iBook as long as I have phone service. The phone itself can be in my pocket, my bag, etc. Heck, it can be across the room, or even in the next room.

Now I understand...

MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!

I was thinking of setting up a little mobile internet cafe in the park, see how much I can charge people to access the net on my iBook...
My opinions are my own, and not those of anybody else, including my employer.

very nice.

i am looking to get that exact phone. right now i am sitting on the fence as to whether i should go at&t or t.mobile.

question. that $20 for unlimited grps, how much does it take your monthly phone bill up to?

if it is _just_ $20 a month, do you get any free minutes?

thanks.

Any pics of what the internal Bluetooth module looks like?

Since Apple announced that the iBook G4 could have Bluetooth built-in (custom ordered), there hasn't been a pic of the module on the net AFAIK.

mac.goodies webstore / Switched to an iBook in November 2002. Never looking back.
