New Powerbook Can't Read DVD-Rs

	My friend just acquired a brand new 15" PowerBook with SuperDrive. She loves it, but she burned all of her files on DVD-Rs in Windows XP. The PowerBook sees all of the directories, but none of the files. Trying to copy the files from the terminal causes a "input/output error". My combo-drive PowerBook exhibits the same problem, but I can see the files from within Virtual PC. Help! She needs to get her files back...
