Hey all!

A bit of soldering and this baby flies! I know, I know, it's old news but I can't help but being a bit excited. The speed improvement is really quite noticeable.

Running at the original 300 MHz, VLC shoked on everything I tried to play. Not anymore! No more stuttering movies. Nice.

Also, when talking via iChat (audio chat) the system became quite unusable because of all the juice required by the audio compression/decompression. At 400 MHz I still notice a slowdown but a lot less than at 300 MHz.

Hey, I've got a new computer!

Yeah. There have been numerous threads about the matter, but here ya go!

I followed this one. To go from 300 to 400 there's actually only two resistors to move.
