Okay, I know I am going to open a can of worms here (and unfortunately G5 is too short of a term to search for on these forums).

When can we expect a Powerbook G5 to be offered by Apple. I remember Steve Jobs made some comment when the G5 was first introduced saying that it would be X amount of time before it would appear in a Powerbook...I just can't remember a) How long ago the G5 was announced and b) what that value of X is.

If anyone can let me know what the rumors have been saying about this are I'd like to know. If there is another open thread on this, please inform me of that as well.

I am hoping I can make my current iBook (rev A) last me until the PB G5's are out, as for me it's more of a want than desire...but I'm also impatient.

Peace,
O
B unce!

This is probably the best thread on the subject at the moment:

Not surprisingly, you're not the only person who'd like one.

I predict we will see a G5 PB sometime shortly after Apple announces one.

If you would have read my post, I did try to do a search, but G5 is too short of a term to search on.
