So a friend of mine finally got a new PowerBook G4 to replace his Pismo.

It's a 1.25 G4, 2x256MB, Combo Drive, AirPort Extreme, 80GB 5400RPM, Backlit Keyboard.

He is a tad busy with school so I thought I would post them for him. Here are a few pictures of before and after.

I thought Mac users belong to the creative side of the world.

Why do you all post these tons of equal looking photos of your powerbook package in every stage of the unpacking procedure?

This is soooooooooooooo booooooooooooring to look at.

New ideas, friends! Otherwise please stop!

Yeah, how dare people share their excitement in an online community!

Mac users also know the joy of opening a new Apple product. No one is forcing you to click on a thread stating "new Powerbook Pics" and view the entire slide show.

Hard stuff!
I understand the excitement. I am myself excited if I get a new mac. But do you really think this is submitted in all these equally looking photos?

I didn't know the ComboDrive came with backlit keyboard. It didn't come with 512mb of ram, either. I don't want to add to the killjob section, is this a custom order?

Even the tracking info... Cool! That is one fully-documented grand opening.

I got my PB 17" last October, and took some similar pics.

Just so long as you don't crack a bottle of champagne over the lid.
