I am getting a wierd, almost static noise coming from my PowerBook 15" 1.25mhz 512 ram.

Is this normal? has anyone else experienced this The computer is working fine, but the noise has me a bit worried.

I should laso mention that I only hear the noise on 'Highest Performance' Setting.

Thanks,
emalen

This is apparently normal, I'm afraid.

my 12" does it too.

I believe it's the graphics card.

Thanks for the tip.... again... I love my PowerBook.. and the noise doesn't bug me.. I'm only nervous in case it leads to something bigger..... like a HD death or something.

I wonder if this will be fixed in an OS update? is that possible?
