Moving from a 15" to a 12". Again. Speculations for bumps?

	Well, I've gone Titanium to iBook, and now want to move from this brand-spanky-nice 1GB, Aluminum Superdrive to the 12"...but I know the limitations (graphics, RAM cap, screen etc.; I even had one for a bit)--there are a few around the office people have they love dearly. They're in a great form-factor that has the 15" beat. So, what's the word on the street for the speedbumped (or not) 12" coming soon? History of announcement time-lead-to-availability? Pricing I ought to get for selling; what will I end up with in difference? etc.? Thanks!
