I am currently using a DI-614+ router from D-Link. I've got an original airport card in my 15" TiBook. I am interested in boosting my reception with one of their wireless range extenders. I am currently looking at their DWL-800AP+

I am planning on using it as a wireless repeater. Has anyone used this particular model? If so, what kind of boost did you get? What about wireless repeaters in general? Do they work well? Any other considerations someone can pass along would be appreciated.

I have a 15 inch TiBook and use a repeater (DWL-800AP+) to increase the signal strength in my living quarters at work. A D-Link router is used and wired to a DWL-800AP+ repeater in another area as an access point and then my repeater gets the signal from the wired one. It works fine. The repeater was configured on a PC. Good Luck.
