Any advice would be welcome.

I will be using me PB mostly at home so what is the best thing to do regarding the batttery?. When i'm at home, is it better if I use th PB plugged into the mains and keep the battery charged or should I be using the PB with battery only and charge when needed?.

I bring my laptop all around the house so I always keep the battery in...if it was just sitting on a desk all day, though, I would take the battery out.

I'm wondering if there are 3rd party batteries for powerbooks?
I have a new 17 inch and it would be nice to have a few extra hours if it's possible
