Hi Everyone,

Over the summer I had purchased one of the TiBook hinge loosener kits, and got too carried away, loosening my hinge way too much. Trying to fix it just marred the metal u-hooks under the outer shell. Recently, a teacher lent me a dead powerbook to exchange the hinge. I know that the s-hinge part contains a lot of wires embedded into it, so is there any special steps I need to be taking?

I am really scared about somehow cutting off video or something to my powerbook. It looks easy enough, two parts that screw in...but nothing is ever easy.

Any advice?

Thanks,
Jon
