Isn't that a TIBook on the Sun Microsystem's website?

I think I can see the dock and the distinctive hinge.

i think it is, but it's been photoshopped. the tibook has vents and a pcmcia clot on that side. the side of the casing on the screen and hinge look like a tibook, not to mention the keyboard and the general color scheme.

Yes right, someone has spent some time to make it look like an average notebook.

Readers of /. know that many sun employers (including James Gosling) use macs. So there is no reason to use the good looks of Powerbooks for their advertisment on the one hand and on the other hand be ashamed to show the apple.

Looks like they are afraid to affront their windows clients.

As a java developer I must say: painful to see this.

Besides no one is that happy looking using Sun or Windows.
