hello,
recently i purchased a dvd burner for my PC and this evening i tested one of the dvd-r's that i had burned some files onto and it would not read in my 12" Powerbook with a combodrive.it complained that the dvd was blank (which it definitely is not).
i burned the same files to a DVD+RW as a test and that disc was readable. so my question is...can dvd-r's (data dvd-r's) be read by my combo drive?
it is first generation 12" btw.
EDIT: I did do some searching and could not find any ifo here or on the apple site that tells me that such discs are not compatable
