Ever since I got my 17" Powerbook a few months ago I've had a problem in that it will not allow my Apple bluetooth mouse or keyboard to wake it from sleep.
When I go into Bluetooth Preferences there is a check box that says "allow bluetooth devices to wake this computer" but it is grayed out and I cannot check it off.
My Powerbook came with Jaguar preinstalled but I did a clean install of Panther on it's virgin bootup.
I've also updated both Panther and Software Update to the latest configuration and still no luck.
I have a G5 and don't have this problem with it, the "allow bluetooth devices to wake this computer" is not grayed out and I have checked it and it works just fine.
I'm assuming something is corrupted somewhere, what's my best bet on how to get it to work properly?
I don't think you can. If you run the update it will probably exit out if you're at the latest revision, but considering those options are grayed it out's pretty much certain you need to apply it. That's what fixed the issue for me.
