So I sold my 600mhyz G3 iBook on eBay for $800, and bought a 800mhz iBook G4 for $950 on eBay aswell. Though it doesnt come with Airport. Well seeing as I dont get paid for another week, I wont be able to afford the Airport Extreme Card for my new iBook. BUT I have an extra D-Link USB wireless adaptor laying around. Will this work? This isnt a permanent idea, but moreso just a temporary fix.

Ideas?

And no, I cannot run wires all over my house for a week

Plug it in and see. If it doesn't work, just grin and bear it until you can affort the AE card.

There's really no reason to bother with anything other than Airport on an Apple laptop.
