Does anyone know how to remove the case from a PB G4 Ti screen (or know a link), I have a strip of the screen that does not really work and the rest flickers, but since it works ok with a bulldog clip in a particular place I think it must be a wiring fault. It does not make sense to pay for a repair so I thought I might have a go before kicking it out... or retiring it to being a V expensive stereo..
Thanks Chris

Check this link for a manual for the Ti 400.

Thanks - I looks like the screen is only designed to be removed in one piece including the casing. Does anyone know how to get into the metal surround to the screen?

I never attempted it on mine because it's supposed to be almost impossible to do it without damaging the LCD panel. You may have to live with the bulldog clip solution or replace the display entirely.

Check this resource. You may be able to solve this problem without taking apart the display, but do what you must.

It can be opened, but itīs very hard to do because everything is glued in place and the risk of damage is high. IIRC Victor Marks (nick: vmarks, a mod of Macnn) has done it succesfully, you could PM him....
