Hey all,

I think my Pismo battery has gone and died on me, but I'm not too sure how to really tell.

I've done the PRAM, power management thing; also reset the nvram and other stuff in the open firmware, still no joy.

Only one battery light is blinking, and only when its plugged into the PB, whereas before it would show the charge even if it was pulled out.

Has anyone got a recommendation for some battery monitoring tools? And also where I could maybe buy one? I'm in the UK, but I'd also probably buy from the another country.

P.s. Do you guys think it is just my battery?

Thanks for any help.

Just search Google UK and you'll find a few shops who will sell you a replacement battery. Sometimes when the battery becomes completely discharged you get that single flashing LED, but it should disappear after leaving the laptop plugged in for a while.
