In Flash I want to use F6 to create a keyframe, but the key has already been assigned to another use by my PowerBook.

Is there a way I can change the functions on the F keys. How can I recover the functionality in flash that would normally be assigned to F6.

Why not use the pretty unused FN-keys you have to your service on a PowerBook. Just add a new keyboard command for that particular application using the FN-key command.

just hole down the 'fn' key in the lower left and the function key will work as the function key instead of being numlock. same works for all of the fkeys.

I recently read a link to a software program you can download to change functionality of the function keys.

They works as function keys & you have to hold down shift (or FN - I'm not for sure), to get special functions to work (like screen brightness & such).

Wish I knew the name of it, but perhaps someone else on here does.
