Anyone else go crazy waiting on those final minutes for Fedex to deliver? I went to my office this morning and came home about an hour ago thinking fedex would have already delivered. Well, not yet, so I am sitting here watching the kid's play and waiting on the truck. I keep watching out the window for them.

And of course, the doubts go through my mind:
Is it going to deliver?
Are they going to reschedule?
Is it going to be damaged?
Is everything going to be ok with the machine?
Will it have white spots?
Or other problems?

I ordered a 1.25GHZ PB G4 w/superdrive from Applestore - refurbished.

I currently have a PB 12 I am selling on ebay item #2789871044.

Here is the fedex info

Well, it is 3:50PM here in PA. I am still waiting. I called fedex customer service & they say that the local truck is still out & will make deliveries up till around 7-8PM today. They said I will get it today, but I really have my doubts now.

Well, it's around that 7 to 8 pm time over there on the east coast, which means, hahaha, you should be playing with it right now and didn't have time to post here.

Congrats on your new Powerbook.

It was unbelievable.. just as I was about to give up hope, at 6:35PM, the fedex man arrived.

I took pictures of the unpackaging process.

It is a WONDERFUL machine, and WAY faster than the 12" powerbook!

I don't know how to post the pictures, can anyone help me?

Congrats! I went through the very same thing waiting for my 15" PB to be delivered to my office. I checked email everyday after my order, waiting for the shipping notification. When nothing was received after the second day I called Apple. They still had my order in pending because I was shipping to an address other than the billing address. This delayed my shipment by one day and I nearly lost it. I had already called my credit card company and added my office address to my account to avoid this type of delay. (Apple never bothered to confirm this until I called) After they confirmed my shipping address I hung up and went back to the status page. I watched the status site every hour looking for a change... the only change I got was that Apple pushed back my shipping date by two days! Again, I just about lost it. The upcoming Monday was a holiday and couldn't bear the thought of a 3 day weekend without my new toy. Not to mention the additional delay due to my office's holiday closing. The next day I check the site again and saw that all of my other items had shippped (printer, .mac, apple care) but not my PB! Why god, why!?! I cried. So, I called Apple again and told them that I had paid for 2 day shipping and if I didn't get it soon I would expect a refund on my shipping charge (ground shipping had been free). Well, I checked my order that evening and it had finally shipped!
I was ecstatic. I began to prepare its "nursery" on my desk as if I were expecting the arrival of a new baby.. well, in theory I was All the other items arrived that Thursday afternoon. I thought, perhaps the PB would catch up with the rest of the shipment and arrive also, but that was not to be since the PB was coming from the West Coast and my other items were shipping from PA. I tell ya, the longest day ever was the day when my PB must have been in route on the plane and there had been no movement on the FedEx tracking site. The next day I tracked my PB one last time and saw that it was on the truck. Before I could track it again someone stopped by my office with a package... my PB had arrived! I was in heaven, all was right with the world. Anticipation is a cruel and evil thing.
Love is a 15" AlBook 1.25 with Superdrive...
