Anyone have experience with third party batteries -- specifically for TiBooks/

Newer Tech makes one that's a 65 Watt-Hour (available at OWC), which is a slight improvement from the 61WH batteries that came with the last round of TiBooks. It's $139, whereas the Apple brand is $129.

Thoughts on capacity, reliability, and price of third-party alternatives?

Thanks!

I wonder if they'll make any replacement batteries for the current 15" and other aluminum powerbooks. It's really a matter of whether mprovement can be made with cost / technology / size constraints.

I finally bought a replacement battery for my G4 550 from ebay. The seller was Titan notebooks. It is brand new. The battery works fine except when you try to charge while shutdown. It will not charge the battery fully even after 9 hours. The first time it was off for about 9 hours and only charged 30%. The second time it was off almost 5 hours and charged about 20%.

Does anyone have experience with this company and does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.
