I just updated to 10.3.3 and now I cant tap with the trackpad! I looked though all the preferences and cant find it anywhere? Am I just stupid and not seeing it or is it gone???

Hmmm, still in Keyboard & Mouse preferences for me, where it's always been. What options show up in that pref pane for you?

Well, look below and you'll see that they are not there for me. Arg! I thought this would be smooth but i guess im wrong...

Whoa. That's really weird. Have you tried repairing permissions? That's a good idea after installing an update.

Same thing going on here with a 12" powerbook. I couldn't find this option under 10.3.2 either...

I think it might be because i installed "sidetrack" at some point. I'll try removing that and also repairing permissions...

I don't have mine here to check, but there's supposed to be a setting for "Trackpad", not mouse.

I think it might be because i installed "sidetrack" at some point. I'll try removing that and also repairing permissions...
While SideTrack is installed the tap click options appear in the SideTrack pref pane _not_ the Apple Keyboard/Mouse pref pane.

You can uninstall SideTrack using the Uninstall button within the installer. After uninstall you need to reboot and the Trackpad tab will reappear in Apple's Keyboard/Mouse.

sounds like the version of side track you have has expried go get a nu one and install then you'll have the taping back....

they last about 6 months
