I'm a new 12" Aluminum PB owner, and I need a good bag.

I bought the Kensington Saddle bag from Apple, and I'm not too happy with it, so I'm going to return it.

I've been looking at the Timbuk2 Commute (which has really good reviews here), but I'm wondering if the SleeveCase will fit inside the Commute.

I checked the dimensions, and the only thing that seems to be a problem is the depth of the laptop sleeve in the Commute- it's listed as 2", whereas the external depth of the SleeveCase is listed as 2.4"

Is the Commute's laptop section adjustable, or fixed? Do you think the SleeveCase would fit in there, or should I look at something else for a sleeve?

I think that's the name of my bag, it's the smaller of the 3 'commuter' bags that timbuk2 no longer carries. Anyway, there's quite a bit of adjustability within the bag for a laptop (I have a 12" ibook) so I think the sleeve will fit just fine.

I have a velcroed divider that's adjustable for the thickness of the computer, and since the top is a flexible flap, you don't have to worry about the 'height' of the computer while in the bag. It will all work out. besides, they have an excellent return policy if you don't like it.

I decided to go ahead and try the Timbuk2 Commute and their notebook sleeve. Should be here by the end of the week I hope!
