ugh, this thing's getting dirty. I know there's a way to pop the keyboard off, at least I think there is. I have a 12-inch PB G4. Anyone know how to do this?

If you can read japanese this will probably make more sense. But the pictures are pretty instructive i think. The keyboard comes off with two tabs. Look at the pics.

for what its worth, try using the sherlock jap. to english language conveter. I tried it out a little bit, and it seems like you might be able to get something out of it.

Thanks but...

After removing the keyboard screws (plus battery, memory, other screws etc.) I was unable to fully pry off the keyboard. But now at least I have bloody cuts on two of my fingers and a warped keyboard.

Same problem... there is a small black screw inside your memory box on the bottom. Remove that screw, and thus remove the keyboard.

Once your keyboard is free, just bend it back. My keyboard now looks 100% flat/straight, and my fingers have healing cuts

Best of luck,
dylan

Things are always so much easier with a Ti.
