I was just looking closer at the slight wobble of my LCD (al 15) and noticed that it's not the whole display that wobbles, but just the actual LCD part. the little piece that between the LCD and the computer is the problem. there's slight play between it and the LCD. Should be able to be tightened easily.
Does anybody know how to do that except through apple or an authorized repair place?
I believe the LCD panel for Al PBs is secured to the display casing with a set of screws and EMI clips that are only accessible after the display casing is taken apart. Are you game for taking things apart on your Albook?
hmm....I just browsed through the service manual and even getting the display off scares me. So, to answer your question, no, I'm not game. I guess I'll need to send it in eventually. Aaaah....hate sending it in.
