"shadow" on screen, in corner

	I'm fairly certain this just appeared, but does anyone has any experience with a "shadow" in one of the corners of the screen? It's very small -- probably no larger than an eighth of an inch in the corner, sloping down to the edge within half an inch. ANyone have any clue as to what it could be? The machine is about 13 months old (12-in PB) but I have AppleCare so that's not an issue. I just wonder what the heck it is.
