Ok, the AC adaptor and battery on my Pismo are deaded (yes, that what I meant to write). The battery hold maybe 1/2 the origional charge and the AC adaptor is sparking. So, I need to replace them. I know Other World Computing has a nice replacement battery which hold more juice than the stock one at it's best. Now I am wondering about the AC adaptor. I'd rather get something after-market as Apple hasn't been trustworthy on this.

Suggestions?

I never had any real problems with my Apple AC adapters, except the size. I'd suggest checking out MadsonLine for their Micro AC adapters. I've not used them personally, but I've heard they're pretty good:
