So I usually have my 1GHz 12" powerbook hooked up to an external 17" LCD when I am at my desk and working on projects with the powerbook running in "lid closed" or clamshell mode except with the lid open so I can use the powerbook keyboard. I also have the Apple bluetooth mouse. When I want to put the notebook to sleep, I used to turn off the mouse and then hit the power button and choose "sleep".

But the other week I noticed, if I close the lid and unplug the power supply, it will automatically goto sleep. Cool! (I don't leave it plugged in when sleeping anyways unless the battery needs charged, as the power supply makes a squelching sound if it is plugged in, asleep, & doesn't need charged).

Anyways yesterday I turned off my mouse, put the lid down, and unplugged it. It went to sleep as usual (or I thought so), but when I came back later I noticed the sleep light was not beating. It was turned off (the battery was full). how odd. That is the one and only time it has happened.

Anybody else every leave their sleeping powerbook and come back to find it has turned itself off (aside from it turning off because of a low battery)?
