OK... So, is it me or do any of yall's 800MHz G4 iBooks make a squeak/creaking noise when you apply moderate pressure on the lower left part of the chassis? To clarify, the lower left corner near the keyboard and track pad. I notice this when typing or picking up the 'book to put in my bag.

Kinda is disconcerting, wanted to know if this was common fit-and-finish abnormality before I prepared to say anything to Apple 'bout it.

This has been covered before, you should try a search. From my understanding it seems that its not detrimental to your iBook and is on just about all 12" iBook models.

i have noticed that too, but it doesnt bother me.
