Ok, i'm not a very happy camper. I sent my ibook off for over a week about a month ago to get rid of this annoying white spot issue on my 14inch Ibook 900mhz G3. Well, a day or so ago the white spot that started it all (right off the center of the screen) decided to come back YET again.

So now i'm sitting on the phone waiting to see what Apple is going to do about this problem. I'm getting really irritated because I paid a lot of money for this laptop and use it for EVERYTHING. I can't afford to keep giving it up for a week. *sigh*

I've been reading about others getting the white spot issue so i figured I'd repost and update everyone to let them know that it seems to be a reaccuring issue.

Well, i just got off the phone with Apple and they said that all they could do was let me send it back in for repair again and that since they granted an exception (find my other post about that) on the last one, that they can't do that automatically again on this one becuase last time they said it had to be something that the user was doing to the computer.

well i carry this thing in a Samonsonite backpack designed for laptops and baby it like a child. I know for a fact that i've done nothing to make this computer develop these spots. I told Apple they could have the damn thing in a month when I'm done using it for college. They gave me a case number to return it under, but I bet anything that I'll just send my ibook off for another week for nothing.

I"ve really disappointed at this point in time with Apple. I'd hoped for better service than this but since "there have been no other reports of the Ibook 14.1 screens having this issue" they can do nothing about it and i should stop beating up my ibook.

*bangs head into the wall*
