Sorry for another thread on this. I've had my iBook less than a week. The first few days when I took it in my backpack, I kept it in a plastic bag to protect it from scratches. I guess that didn't work. I then proceeded to put it into the original foam covering it came in when going out, and that didn't fully protect it either.
I looked inside my backpack and I don't see any loose gravel or razor blades or broken glass or anything.

It sucks that after a few days it's covered in scuff marks. OK not covered but when I look at it in the light, it's easy to spot a bunch of them on top.
After searching out older threads on this I bought "Liquid Glass" polish/wax to hopefully take out some of the scuff marks. Has anyone had any experience with this stuff? Will it work? I'll probably get it later this week.
I also bought an Incase sleeve to put it in which will hopefully offer better protection.
I'm not completely anal about this kind of stuff. If the polish works I may do it every now and then to make it look shiny new, but not like every day or week. It just sucks to have something cost all that money and have physical wear after a matter of days !
