I have been working all day on the computer and all of a sudden, the screen just starts flickering like crazy. The dektop was blurred, it was showing grey and black shapes, and it would not stop flickering. The screen would go black also for a little. It did not stop until I restarted and then everythin seemed fine....
Anyone know what might have caused that craziness?!?!?!

My 17" has a split screen with blurry lines and a flicker. It is at Apple awaiting a back ordered logic board. Going into the third week and getting impatient.

Could have been nothing more than an isolated heat issue...
The symptoms described could be caused by an overheating in the gfx department.
PHYMAC did say he had been working at the machine all day too.
Just a thought.

Did it finally get fixed for good?
I'm on my 3rd keyboard and this will be my 2nd logic board. When will they give in and just give me a new powerbook?

To give you guys an update, it went back to normal until yesterday again where the dock would not longer function and basically dissapeared and then everything froze. I restarted and everything was back to normal.... I am trying to wait it out becaus eI really need my computer for exam prep now. I think it might be because of over heating? but I don't really know. It will need to go in sometime soon...
Why have so many people replaced their keyboards...
BTW I have already replaced the logic board once.
