So I turn it on today, and I am surfing the web with Safari, and when I scroll down a webpage, it doesn't scroll correctly. The top part stays in place and everything else starts to overlap.. I thought it might be just in safari, but then I tried ichat, word, and everything does it. This is after yesterday's post of my screen making all these funky flashes and designs.... It must be th elogic board, huh?

It also happens when I just move a window across the screen....

My 17 PB has the same problem. This occured after an install of a bad from stock keyboard. Every time the "U" and "I" key were hit at the same time, the screen would go blank. After doing this several times, I then got a permenent split screen with blurring lines. It is at Apple right now awaiting a new logic board, which are on back order. I've been waiting two weeks. Good luck.

That's not the keyboard. Sounds like the 17" pb has the same prob as the ibooks did.

The flexing of the motherboard is causing the video chip to get knocked loose. When you pressed U and I you basically knocked if off kilter.. NOT your fault, poor engineering unfortunately

PHYMAC. I put forward an option of overheating in your other post... However it does sound like you have a logic board issue.

I'd get onto Apple straight away.

The unit worked fine for 11 months till they changed out the keyboard. I am going into the 3rd week waiting on the logic board so mine is far from the only one with logic board probs.
