Will powerbooks ever see the 9700 mobility on them?

Dell released their model like 2 months ago.
That is one rocking gaming labtop.
Apple hasn't done anything yet.
So sad
I want a 12inch mobile gaming monster

A) They are laPtops... not laBtops.
B) I would hope Apple puts the 9700 in the Powerbook lineup, but remember the 9700 was released 1/2 through the Powerbook revision cycle. It doesn't make sense for Apple to rush an upgrade just to add a new GPU. I wouldn't be surprised to see it there though when the revision does come down the pike.

Here's to hoping the next powerbook has the radeon 9700, maybe better yet 9800 mobility.. always best to wait, and then 1up the competition ya know?

The next round of PCI-X cards will be out soon... Radeon 9900/X800.
Maybe Apple are waiting to be sure they maim all the competition in a big way, and for a long time?
G5 + X800 mobile + Powerbook? Kind of hard to beat...

The 12" form factor is always a compromise though... could they get a stack load of video ram in there and keep the heat down to acceptable levels?
I hope so, but I fear that the 12" will never be truly cutting edge because of it's size.

...9800Mobility doesnt exist, I doubt ATi will make a chip just for Apple.
