I have a smart media reader (USB) attached to my PB but I can't access it.
I have plugged it in in the past and the PB automatically began to read the images...but that only occurred once.
Plugging and unplugging isn't working.

I can locate my printer and PDA easily enough via syst. prefs., but I can't find the appropriate place to view all peripherals.

I have iPhoto04 and Photoshop Elements 2.0 but don't know how to export from my reader with either...

Any ideas?

In System Profiler, click on USB to see USB devices attached. The PB should not automatically transfer images unless you're using some program that should do this when you attach the reader. The device should show up as a hard disk on your desktop, where you can drag stuff from it to your hard drive.
