Looking at the specs of the new Powerbooks launched today, it looks like they squeezed 4 more watt hours into the battery. Tech specs show 50 now, compared to the 46 in the first Aluminum 15 incher. And it appears to be the same battery since the part number didn't change.
The iBook 14 inch still leads the pack though with a 61 watt hour battery.
50-watt-hour battery ... (12-inch Powerbook models) - M9572G/A (up from 47 on the M9324G/A)
50-watt-hour battery ... (15-inch Powerbook models) - M9325G/A (Up from 46, same part number of M9325G/A)
58-watt-hour battery ... (17-inch Powerbook model) - M9326G/A (same as the old one)
50-watt-hour battery ... (iBook G4 with 12.1-inch display) - M9337G/A (same as the old one)
61-watt-hour battery ... (iBook G4 with 14.1-inch display) - M9338G/A (same as the old one)
Not sure why the 12 inch Powerbook battery part changed. Anyone have a good picture of the old one?
