Just wondered if anyone knew how much of a performance boost the new 15's would be over an old TiBook 800... 1.5 ghz doesn't sound a lot and to think it's taken almost 2 years to gain 700mhz!

Any ideas?

I guess the best bet would be to just sit back and wait for the user reviews to start appearing on this board...

between the faster cpu, bus, memory and video card, i think it will be a lot faster. frankly though, i would probably wait for the G5's, unless you really need a faster machine now. the TI800 is still a lot of machine.
