i got a small dent in my powerbook 12" which i dunno how it go there, or how long its been there. it wouldnt be so bad if it wasnt in the battery, but it was, which made it impossible to put the battery back into the computer when i took it out to examine it. i took 4 hours molding it back into shape. i got it to look almost perfect, but the place where the metal of the battery goes into the main bottom part of the powerbook is not smoothly connected anymore, if anyone has the first gen white ibook probably has the same problem. does anyone know where i could get a replacement casing?? that would be most helpful.

thanks for that link, but i was talking more about the covering for the battery that is the aluminum part. because i dont want to buy an entirely new battery, because that part functions perfectly.
