I need a webpage with some benchmark result showing a PowerBook with 256MB L2 cache, and possibly the same MHz/GHz processor, but with 512KB L2 cahce.
Someone stated that double L2 cache, will double performance. I do not think that this is true. Double L2 cache will help performance, but will not double it.
A good example would be the speed test of the first 17" PowerBook (1GHz, w/ 256 KB L2 cache) and the second generation 15" PowerBook (1GHz, 512KB L2 cache). has anyone seen a test like this anywhere?
Thanks,
t
