Does anyone know if the Sony Ericsson GC82 EDGE PC Card Modem or the Sierra Wireless AirCard 750 will work with OSX and the Powerbooks PC card slot. Will this be better than getting a Bluetooth phone?

I'm resurrecting this post because I too am interested in hearing some feedback from users with experience with the equipment.

I'd also be interested in knowing what cell service people are using to get high-speed connections from their PowerBooks.
