I just got my 12in powerbook today and im stoked. BUT the part of the box with the circle sealing sticker, it has 2 of them one on top of the other with the bottom one cut inhalf. im trying to say that it seems like it has been opened already. should i have anything to worry about because i dont want a used pb when i payed for a new one. thanks

Does it smell new? Does the manual and it packages look used? And.....is this a BTO model?

not BTO and i dont think i would not think they needed to open the box for anything. It did come from taiwan though. The inside of the box looks new i think but im not sure... i mean pretty sure its new. the screen frame had some sticky stuff on it and so did the case. not a lot but it seemed like a little bit of the keyboard foam protector thing maybe sticky...

If it was shipped direct from Tawain I wouldn't worry about it. If you got it from a dealer, I would worry.
