Yesterday I discovered that the bottom case in the front part of my Ti Book is starting to come off. By this I mean that there is a considerable gap between the Ti colored metallic case and the beige plastic mid frame (part) where the CD slot is at. The Case was not like this when I bought the PB back in July. The Gap between cause by the warping goes from the corner of the CD bay pass the lid opening button almost to the other side. I am afraid the case is going to come off or something.

What should I do? Will the warranty cover this? Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Are the screws tightened in the bottom of the case or have they wiggled out somehow? Is it all around the case? I'd call Apple about it if you're still under warrenty.

Which TiBook do you have and how old is it? I have a 667 DVI.

Voch

I have not check the screws...but I believe they are tight...the PB is a 867 MHz bought in July last year...it is still under warranty...I am just afraid that Apple will say that is is with in spec...but I now that case is warping...that gap is very notisable.

(Sorry about the spelling englis is not my first language and I am having a bad day)

This little gap (approx. 1 mm) on the right side is absolutely normal for the Tiīs. It will not widen over time. Donīt worry, live with it...

Yeah a bit p*ssed of....

So I game a call to the apple store to see if my bottom case had come so they could replace it and they said that it was there...so I took my TiBook over and when I got there they guy at the genus bar told me that the part was not covered under warranty....WTF! I mean a week ago one guy takes a look at my PB and says "yeah no problem I will order a new bottom case for you" a week after with the part on the counter another guy says "nop sorry" I mean get it straight please!

I don't know if I should call like costumer service or something...but I am quite disappointed.
