I hear that it is the 7447a and that seems to jive with these:
Motorola 7447a
How can I tell exactly which PPC processor I have?

Try System Profiler in /Applications/Utilities. Not sure if it will show the exact CPU type though.

Tried that already.
It only shows G4 v1.1

Switched2Mac: You have two options: (1) open up your PowerBook and read the model name and number on the CPU, or (2) read Apple's Developer Notes for the Rev.C 12-inch PowerBook. The answer is that you have a Motorola PowerPC 7447A in there.

I did a search and found a sweet PDF detailing my new PB on the ADC. Thanks for direction.
The more I use my new PB, the more I like it!
