12" 1 ghz ibook 60 gig drive, 256 ram , 60 gig hard drive, bt, ae = 1244

12 1.33 ghz powerbook, 60 gig drive, 256 ram, 60 gig hard drive, bt, ae = 1471

obviously ram is needed in both. sold a tibook, , both are now as fast or faster.

do not need spanning, will only be using to go/ never at a desk.

how have you guys been finding adjusting to the small screen?

don'tneed superdrive, got an external burner

so let me get some opinions.. which has better batt life, airport reception.. which is more durable.. the al book is lighter.. but not much.. does it scratch.. what's good?

Sadly the iBook has better battery life, airport reception, and is more durable then the powerbook. If you think about it, the new iBook is the Rev B powerbook other then the mini dvi and audio in. The PB is less likely to scratch where as the iBook is notorious for being easily scratched. If you dont need the latest and greatest then I'd go for the iBook, but if you wanna splurge then by all means go with the PB, either machine is great, and I'm almost positive that you'd love either or.
NOW YOU SEE ME! 2.4 MBP and 2.0 MBP (running ubuntu)
