I was wondering how much RAM I can put in my 1GHz TiBook. When I got the computer, I thought the max I could do was 1 GB. I've got 512MB right now and want to max it out. With the release of 1 GB chips, does this mean I could have a 1 GB chip in one slot and a 256 MB in the other? Or will the computer only recognize up to a certain amount? Thanks.

I think the max for the TiBook is 1GB (two 512MB PC133 SO-DIMMs). Only the newer, faster PC2100/PC2700 DDR SO-DIMMs are made in 1GB capacities.
I actually don't know what the computer is capable of addressing, though, but I've never seen a 1GB PC133 SO-DIMM (what you need your 1Ghz TiBook and I use in my 667Mhz TiBook).
EDIT: 1-800-4MEMORY has PC133 1GB PowerBook SO-DIMM modules listed on their PowerBook memory page. News to me.

no, that page is selling 2 512MB chips as a 1GB package. I believe the initial assertion that 1GB PC133 SO-DIMMS do not exist is correct.

Oh...yeah. That would make sense and I've seen those packages mentioned here. Nevermind.
