Between macstumbler and kismac, I'm ready for the next step. Just wanted to see what people are using, would like to go pure USB interface and avoid the serial to usb adapter route...

TIA

El zorro - I use my Garmin etrex with my 15" PB while offroading. It is connected to my USB port through a serial/USB adaptor (Keyspan USB 2.0). Off road I use oziexplorer. However b/c this is a PC only program, I run it through Virtual PC emulator. The emulator speed is a little slow to load but keeps up nicely once running. I also have used Delorme Topo on the Virtual PC but since I mostly use this program onroad instead of in the woods, I prefer to run Route66 on my Mac platform since it is more responsive. If you have any other questions, email me.

I use a Bluetooth GPS receiver by GPSCity.com. It works great with my PowerBook 15 inch and with Route 66 for Mac OS X.
