say i cant afford all the upgrades like a 128 video card memory or 1GB of RAM...is it possible to upgrade in the future? or is all the hardwarein the powerbooks permanent?

I know it's possible to upgrade the RAM.

VRAM I think not

Ram can be added anytime.
The vram is *only* available in a BTO/CTO..
